Step by Step Process – How to Access Remote Desktop Using AnyDesk. Download AnyDesk – a safe and small size remote desktop control software that let’s you access another computer remotely. Ask the remote user of which you want to access computer to download the same software i.e. I downloaded and installed anydesk (free licence) in Ubuntu 18.04: sudo dpkg -i anydesk2.9.6-1amd64.deb But it does not allow me to change the 'alias' (change the number to a custom alias, like e.g. Pc1@MyCompany or machine@ad) (see fingerprint) According to anydesk you have to modify this file: Linux: /.anydesk/service.conf.

  • Uninstall your current TeamViewer using the Control Panel - the technician will guide you if you do not know how.

  • OR; FOR MOBILES: App/Play Store app is called 'TeamViewer Host', please download and install.
3. If you are having trouble with TeamViewer (or have a newer version than 12 already installed) please download, install and run AnyDesk from https://anydesk.com
After opting for options 1, 2 or 3, please communicate Your TeamViewer/AnyDesk ID (and random password if displayed) to the technician.
